CUCS Survivors of Abuse
The Continence, Urology and Colorectal Service is working in conjunction with the Leeds Sexual Health Service to help all survivors of abuse who have developed bladder or bowel issues.

Don’t let your bladder/ bowel problems stop you from living your life, gaining control and feeling empowered.
Sexual assault, abuse or domestic violence are known to have a long term impact on a person’s health.
This can lead to multiple health complaints which include:
- IBS
- Chronic pelvic pain
- Painful intercourse
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Over active bladder
- Mixed bladder symptoms
- Urinary and faecal incontinence
We can offer the following:
- Confidential
- Bladder/bowel management
- Supported
- Kindness and
- Continuity of
- Time to talk in a safe
- Referrals to additional organisations where necessary.
