About nuerodiversity
Neurodiversity means all the different ways people’s brains can work. “Neuro” means brain and “diversity” means variety. When someone is neurodivergent, it means their brain works in a different way that is natural for them.
This includes people who are autistic, have ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, developmental language disorder (DLD), or Tourette syndrome. We keep learning about more types of neurodivergence all the time.
For more information we recommend you visit the MindMate Neurodiversity Information Hub for information to support all neurodivergent (ND) children, young people and families in Leeds both with and without formal diagnoses.
