Thanks a Bunch Rebecca Ferguson!

August 17, 2026

We are delighted to announce the winner of our August Thanks a Bunch award is Rebecca Ferguson.

Rebecca was nominated by a staff member in recognition of having a friendly face to turn to and laugh with.

In the nomination, they said “It has been so comforting to know she was only a phone call away. Rebecca has never done anything by halves, from her DIYs to deliver interactive teaching, supporting with visits, prebooking time in, I always felt she has gone above and beyond for me and others, and she really is a cheerleader for everyone. the nerves of being a newly qualified nurse were washed away a lot faster with Rebecca by my side and I can’t imagine how I would have managed without her support.

Rebecca, you have made such a meaningful impression on me and I hope to one day have as much knowledge and kindness as you!”

Rebecca was presented with flowers and a certificate by Sam Prince, Director of Operations, who said “I have come to say thanks a bunch to Rebecca. You have been nominated by Phoebe, who wanted to say how much she appreciated how you have supported her since she has become a qualified member of staff and she hopes to have as much knowledge and kindness as you one day.”

When Rebecca was presented with the flowers and certificate, she said “I don’t really know what to say. It is the fact everyone pulls together, it’s not just me, they all look after one another, it is so kind of her to nominate me. Thank you so much – you are all amazing.”

Thanks a Bunch, is all about recognising and celebrating colleagues who make a positive difference every day. It provides a simple way for staff to say thank you to one another by nominating individuals or teams who deserve recognition.

Congratulations to Rebecca Ferguson and thank you for the compassion, dedication, and authenticity embody the very best of our organisation’s values.
