Visions, values and behaviours
It is important to show respect to patients and staff. This includes attending appointments on time, being quiet in clinical areas, dressing appropriately and adhering to trust policies such as handwashing.
Behaviour on placement, please be considerate and professional, and do not use mobile phones during your placement unless you have specifically asked permission to do so.
Please ensure you take your trust or university photo ID with you to all placements. If attending a school placement please also take your DBS certificate or you will not be allowed access.
We expect you to attend 100% of sessions on the programme as a mark of respect for your colleagues and particularly your patients. Failure to attend, or absence without permission, can have serious consequences on your training.
