Thanks a Bunch Joanne Filby and Anna Hardy!

November 5, 2026

We are delighted to announce the winner of our October Thanks a Bunch award is Joanne Filby and Anna Hardy.

Joanne and Anna was nominated by a staff member in recognition of the commitment and dedication they demonstrate in their roles every day.

In the nomination, they said “We are working beyond capacity however Jo and Anna have shone; they are always responsive to the ask when urgent clinical demands are raised, they are the first to review their commitments, rearrange their diaries and ask what they can do to help. This is on top of heavy caseloads and already complex cases that they are holding. They check in with us and leads and demonstrate care for their colleagues and the children and families we are here for. Jo and Anna embody all 7 of the Trust behaviours.”

Joanne and Anna was presented with flowers and certificates by Laura Smith, Director of People, who said “Every month we do Thanks a Bunch where people nominate colleagues who have gone above and beyond; who have really embodied the trust values and behaviours and who deserve this token of appreciation. It seems to be very appropriate to be doing this in OT week. A thank you to you all but in particular to Jo and Anna”.

When Joanne and Anna were presented with the flowers and certificate, they said “I’m a bit lost for words; it doesn’t happen often. Thank you, it means a lot, we really appreciate it”.

Thanks a Bunch, is all about recognising and celebrating colleagues who make a positive difference every day. It provides a simple way for staff to say thank you to one another by nominating individuals or teams who deserve recognition.

Congratulations to Joanne and Anna and thank you for the compassion, dedication, and authenticity embody the very best of our organisation’s values.
