Thanks a Bunch Sarah!

This month we have relaunched Thanks a Bunch, our monthly staff recognition scheme, and our first winner is Sarah Brownlow, Clinical Service Manager (West Neighbourhood Teams).

Sarah was nominated by Clinical Team Manager (ABU), Saoirse Magnier-Gibson for her incredibly kind and compassionate management and leadership. Saoirse explained in her nomination that Sarah has helped her navigate two new roles in the last two years. She has shown patience, kindness and been very considerate when doing this, ensuring she was comfortable and making the most of learning opportunities. Saoirse also said Sarah makes staff feel comfortable in regards to approaching her for help and support, particularly when they are struggling.

Sarah was presented with some flowers and certificate by Jenny Allen, Director of People, who said “it is my absolute pleasure to give this to Sarah, she comes across as a very caring and compassionate individual. The nomination came from Saorise to say a massive thank you for all the support you have given her over the years. All your interventions with her have enabled her to stay well and in work”.

Thanks a Bunch is all about recognising and celebrating colleagues who make a positive difference every day. It is a simple way for staff to say thank you to one another, by nominating individuals or teams who deserve recognition. Award recipients receive a Thanks a Bunch certificate and small token of appreciation.
