Leeds Community Healthcare is based across multiple Health Centres and clinics in Leeds and surrounding areas. During your placement with the Trust, you may be required to visit more than one of our bases.

- There is an on-site car park with limited spaces, with additional street parking in the area.
- Please report to the main Health Centre reception and ask for your Educational Supervisor, please sign in and out on the register for fire safety, you can ask reception for a fob when you arrive, you will need it for navigation to staff room, toilets, and some clinical rooms.
- For information on accessing a quiet space or contemplation room please speak to a team member on reception.
- There is a large Morrisons Supermarket a short walk from the health centre with cash points and a petrol station
- There are desks available in the staff room. Clinic Rooms need to be booked with Reception.
- There is a staff kitchen, which has a fridge to store milk and also coffee machine and hot water dispenser. There is space to keep dry food outside in cupboard. There is dining area in the staff kitchen to eat food.

- Please press the buzzer at the main entrance to access the building, then report to the reception window.
- In the recovery hub there are fridges, microwaves, and kettles for use, there are shops and supermarkets close by.
- You will be working closely with your supervisor. Generally, rooms are booked for you to work in each base all though we are very limited with private spaces. Please note that the Recovery Hub buildings are owned by Adult Social Care.

- There are a number of shops and eateries located near to the Health Centre on Chapeltown Road.
- There are hot desks available on the second floor, where there is also a kitchen point with a fridge to store milk. The second floor is secure due to being fob access, but if a locker is required, you can request a key from the reception desk on the first floor.

- Please report to the reception window is to the left of the main Leeds City Council Reception desk. You will be met by either Management support officer on arrival, or your Lead Consultant. You will be given a bewater card swipe access card.
- South Recovery Hub is the hub you will need to revisit to collect prescription pads, and to address any IT related issues as we usually have LCH Admin staff on site and there is LCH Wi-Fi in that building only. First log On’s to our laptops need to be done at South Leeds.

- There is an on-site car park with limited spaces, with additional street parking in the area.
- Please report to the ‘Child Health/ICAN’ reception window is to the left of the main Leeds City Council Reception desk. on the ground floor and ask for your Educational Supervisor, the building doesn’t open until 09:00 (Tuesdays 10:00). If arriving before these times, please contact reception on 0113 8432000/02 and someone can collect you.
- For information on accessing a quiet space or contemplation room please speak to a team member on reception.
- There is an ASDA Supermarket opposite the health centre with cash points and a petrol station, and a small shopping centre with a free car park next to the Health Centre. Please DO NOT park in the ASDA car park as there is a 2-hour maximum stay and tickets are issued.
- There are multiple hot desk spaces in the child health areas on the first floor for working on a laptop. There are no lockers, however the office areas upstairs are secure.
- There are two kitchens, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, both have fridge space, kettles, and a microwave although neither are for the exclusive use of our service. There is seating available in the first floor kitchen and also on the first floor landing area.
- There is a lift available to access the first floor.

- The main car park for patients and visitors at St James’s is the multi-storey, next to the landmark Leeds Cancer Centre building. It is clearly signposted as you enter the hospital site from Beckett Street. It is open from 6am to midnight and payment is on exit. There is additional council parking on Beckett Street.

- Please report to the Health Centre reception on the ground floor to the left side of the main entrance, and ask for your Educational Supervisor.
- For information on accessing a quiet space or contemplation room please speak to a team member on reception.
- Staff usually work in rooms, but there is limited hot desk space in the office area by the toilet, or on the third floor.
- There is a Kitchen on ground floor is where communal milk is kept with a milk fund jar on the counter, there is communal tea and coffee available. There is an additional kitchen on third floor, where you can store your own milk.
- Personal items are usually stored in the clinical rooms where you are working, but they can also be left in the Admin Lead’s office, which is through the digilock door.

- There is an on-site car park with limited spaces at the side of the health centre, with additional street parking in the area. Parking is accessed via a one way system, please aim to arrive before 8:30 as this can get busy.
- To report to reception, please take the stairs/lift to the first floor where there is a small reception with a Gynaecology sign, then ask for your Educational Supervisor.
- For information on accessing a quiet space or contemplation room please speak to a team member on reception.
- There are no hot desks at Yeadon, however rooms can be booked in advance by emailing community.gynaecology1@nhs.net.
- There is a tea point on the ground floor reception with a fridge, and a kitchen on the first floor.
- Personal items can be securely stored in the Gynaecology reception on the first floor which is accessed via keypad if required.
